Did you know that people experiencing change or under stress are the most receptive to the Gospel?
It begins with Communication...
Immigrants coming to Australia from non-English speaking countries are experiencing both significant change, (a new culture and new language) and stress, (assimilating into the community, work and education).
Australia is home to hundreds of cultures. Multiculturalism is one of this country’s great strengths. Multiculturalism promotes equity for non-English speaking communities from diverse backgrounds and newly arrived refugees and migrants.
Many new arrivals are finding that the English skills required to gain entry to Australia are not enough to be able to converse in the workplace (or socially). In today’s world, a major key to success is effective communication. In every speaking situation you are judged by what you say and how you say it. If you are difficult to understand, it could present difficulties for you when speaking to clients or colleagues at work, when speaking on the telephone, or when conversing with friends and at social gatherings. Pronunciation and accent can be learned with our easy to use programs.
